We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient‑focused, hard‑working individual who can join our Radiology team as a Radiology Department Assistant (RDA). With a view to expanding our service to seven days, we expect flexibility to work 8‑6 or 8‑8 cross‑site to increase capacity and offer greater access for the patients we serve. Radiology is looking for full‑time or part‑time staff. Flexible hours are expected as well as working weekends as part of a rota.

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate must be flexible, dynamic, patient‑focused and able to work as part of a team.
  • Inter‑professional communication skills are essential when working alongside Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers and other healthcare workers.

Work Locations:

This post is a cross‑site position at both Darent Valley Hospital and Queen Mary’s Sidcup Hospital, and also the Community Diagnostic Centre, based in Dartford. Both hospitals are part of Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust, a progressive and forward‑thinking Trust serving a growing local population of 340,000.

  • Interventional and cardiac angiography

Shift Pattern:

Working days and/or shift patterns will be agreed by the line manager to meet the needs of a 7‑day 8‑8 service.
