At DART Aerospace (F.P.T. Industries Ltd), we design and manufacture mission-critical aerospace equipment used worldwide in both commercial and defense sectors. Our teams are driven by quality, safety, and innovation, supporting a rapidly evolving industry.
We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our Design Engineering team and lead the development and certification of new aerospace products.
Your Role
You will be responsible for managing engineering projects from initial concept through to certification and final delivery, working at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and certification strategies
- Support bids and sales through technical proposals and compliance matrices
- Design and develop products (2D/3D CAD / SolidWorks, CATIA or similar)
- Lead certification activities (test plans, reports, compliance documentation)
- Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency
- Support production and quality on non-conformances and root cause analysis
- Coordinate with suppliers for development and testing activities
- Participate in project reviews, customer meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Profile
- Experience in design & certification engineering (aerospace strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of certification standards (EASA / FAA / CAA, DO-160, CS-27/29)
- Solid understanding of design for manufacture & aerospace materials
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)
- Experience with GD&T and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
- Lean / Six Sigma exposure
- Familiarity with PLM / ERP systems
- Experience in Part 21 / Part 145 environments
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
