The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
This role offers hybrid working from Pontypridd/Wrexham office and from home, flexible working hours with occasional travel to site or other office locations as required. Responsibilities:
- The Transport Planning Graduate will contribute to the development and delivery of TfW’s multimodal integration agenda.
- Assist in projects and tasks that support the Welsh Government, local authorities and other partners in making public transport a key element of an integrated transport system.
Essential Requirements:
- A post graduate degree (Masters) in a relevant area such as Transport and Planning, Transport Planning and Engineering, Urban Transport.
- The ability to understand, analyse and interpret data to support decision making and recommendations.
- The ability to manage time and priorities effectively, whilst balancing workload and academic study to achieve key objectives and deliverables.
- An understanding of the ways in which different travel modes can support the aims to reduce carbon emissions and reduce the need to travel by car.
- Have an interest or passion in transport/transport planning and sustainability.

Please note, to be eligible for this Graduate scheme, you must be within 2 years post-graduation upon application or have completed all course teaching for your master’s degree, by the time the scheme starts in September. If you are successfully appointed to the role, your offer will be conditional on you passing the master’s degree. You must hold the relevant right to work in the UK upon successful appointment of the role. We’re not currently able to provide sponsorship.
Welsh Language Skills: We welcome people who can speak or write in Welsh, but it’s not essential for this role.
