Qualifications:
- Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education.
- An associate degree (or higher).
- High School Diploma or the equivalent AND Ready to Work Credentials, which include:
- WIN – copy of WIN Assessment minimum of Level 3 certification
- OR ParaPro – copy of passing score (minimum 456) on ParaPro, the state approved academic assessment.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Supervisor: Principal
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom teaching assistance.
- Provide supervision of students at all times.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Provide students with daily care (e.g., toileting, diapering, feeding, etc.) as needed or required.
- Adhere to district dress code policies.
- Maintain required confidentiality in regard to students and school records.
- Positively support all facets of student growth and development.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
