Qualifications
- Must be a teacher certified in early childhood education or elementary education.
- Current DCSD employee.
- Possess experience working with struggling readers.
- Demonstrated and documented success in student growth and achievement.
- Qualities of teachers in the CERDEP Summer Program include: motivational, fun, helpful, reliable, flexible, positive, self-directed and self-motivated, interested in working with students struggling with reading, easily adapts to new situations, possess creativity and ability to foster curiosity.
- Must comply with CERDEP Guidelines.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
