The predicted salary is between 18 - 18 £ per hour.
Salary: $18.00/hour – 4 days/week (Monday – Thursday) up to 8 hours/day.
Instructional time windows: Specific instructional session times/teacher work hours to be determined by site directors.
Dates: May 29, 2026 – Planning Day; June 1 – June 25, 2026 (Mon–Thu).
Qualifications:
- Must meet district teacher assistant qualifications.
- Current DCSD employee.
Qualities of assistants in the CERDEP Summer Program include:
- Motivational, fun, helpful, reliable, flexible, positive, self‑directed and self‑motivated.
- Interested in working with students struggling with reading.
- Easily adapts to new situations.
- Possess creativity and ability to foster curiosity.
Must comply with CERDEP guidelines. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
