Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach Salary: Teacher Salary Schedule Assigned Supplement: $6,500.00 Location: Darlington High School Available: 2026-2027 School Year
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina teaching credential preferred
- Secondary certification preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience at the high school level in motivating and developing a championship level program
- This position may include teaching responsibilities
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a visible commitment to student athletes, community, and instructional leadership while promoting positive character and school spirit
- Have experience and innovative ideas in and out of season (in compliance with SC High School League regulations) regarding the basketball program
- Demonstrate the ability to motivate, relate, work with, and maximize the individual potential of high school students on and off the court
- Demonstrate high energy and be able to work well with others
- The ability and willingness to promote multi sport athletes in line with the culture and vision of the athletic department
- Perform other duties as assigned
