Purpose of Job
To work as part of the commercial catering division, Academy catering, providing quality catering and support services to customers throughout the College facilities.
Principle Accountabilities
- a) Preparation of simple food items e.g. sandwiches, chips, etc.
- b) Service of food to customers.
- c) Working on tills.
- d) Setting up and restocking service counters.
- e) Filling vending machines, as required.
- f) Washing up in appropriate areas.
- g) Washing of pots and pans where needed.
- h) Assisting in clearing and cleaning of tables in dining areas where appropriate.
- i) Cleaning utensils, equipment and surfaces in accordance with Academy Catering Health and Safety Policies.
- j) Collection, sorting and delivery of linen / laundry to all areas of catering facility.
- k) Delivering food / beverages throughout the College.
- l) To support College policies, procedures and quality assurance systems
- m) To perform such other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as required by your Line Manager
