The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
We are recruiting a number of temporary enrolment assistants to help with the busy summer period when all the new students are enrolling. The roles will be mainly data entry and data checking and general duties assisting the effective enrolment of our new and returning students. These roles are full time Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm normal hours, however there may be some evenings to 6.30pm or 7:00pm. Dates of employment would be from 17 August 2026 - 04 September 2026. Paid by the hour.
Principal Accountabilities
- To be comfortable to meet and communicate with new learners
- To be able to work within a team and communicate information to colleagues
- To use the College Student Records IT systems - ProSolution data entry system creating new student records
- To process and validate data associated with enrolling students
- Undertaking systematic checks to ensure the accuracy and validity of learner data
- To enter course code information onto the system
- Ensuring the data is inputted into the system in a timely manner
- To produce Student ID cards
- To remain calm during busy enrolment periods
General
- To develop knowledge and understanding of funding agency requirements, completing required personal Continued Professional Development as identified and agreed.
- To contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive suite of procedures and work instructions associated with the area of responsibility.
- To ensure 'best practice' is shared and developed across College by supporting the delivery of appropriate staff development.
- To comply with all College policies, procedures and quality assurance systems.
- To perform other such duties commensurate with the grade of the post, as required by the Principal and Chief Executive and/or Head of Registry.
At all times deliver a professional approach in all aspects of work, treating all staff, students and the wider college community with respect.
