Darlington Borough Council is seeking a committed and reliable Street Scene Operative to support the delivery of Street Scene activities across the Borough.

As a Street Scene Operative, you will be part of a hardworking team responsible for keeping our streets, back lanes, and public spaces clean and well-maintained, ensuring high standards of service for our residents and visitors. This includes carrying out routine schedules for the emptying and clearing of dog waste and litter bins and providing a rapid response service for issues such as litter, dog fouling, fly tipping and other cleansing-related activities. There may also be occasions where you are required to support across other services.

Applicants must be able to work in accordance with an agreed shift rota, with working days/hours falling between the hours of 6am to 6pm Monday to Sunday.
