Darlington Borough Council are seeking to recruit a Project Support Officer (for a Fixed Term of 14 months) to play a key role in an exciting digital transformation programme.
This is an opportunity to support the migration of network drive data into a modern Microsoft 365 environment, helping to improve collaboration, accessibility and efficiency across the Council.
About the Role
Working as part of the Systems and Process Team, you will support the delivery of projects that make a real difference to how services operate.
Your primary focus will be assisting with the migration of data into Microsoft 365 and Share Point, ensuring information is organised, accessible and secure.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, system specialists and service areas to coordinate activities and meetings, maintain project documentation and help ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the planning and delivery of the Microsoft 365 Migration project.
- Assisting with organising, monitoring and maintaining project plans and documentation.
- Providing advice and support to staff on Microsoft 365 queries and data migration activities.
- Helping to manage and organise large volumes of data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Liaising with stakeholders across the organisation to support smooth implementation.
- Collecting, analysing and presenting project information to support decision‑making.
- Attending meetings and contributing to project discussions and offering guidance and advice where needed.
