We are seeking an experienced leader to join us on a temporary basis to provide maternity cover in this key strategic role. You will play a central part in shaping and influencing our approach to corporate performance. There is also a focus on equality, diversity and inclusion, which includes providing advice and insight to ensure these principles are embedded across everything we do.

Working closely with senior leaders, you will oversee our corporate performance functions, ensuring we use data, insight and strong partnerships to continuously improve outcomes for our communities. Alongside this you will support the organisation to understand and respond to the evolving equalities landscape, helping translate legislation, policy and local priorities.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has substantial knowledge and experience in both performance management and equality & diversity, but are open to applicants with a particular strength in either of these areas, and a competency to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully oversee the delivery of the other function during the maternity cover period.
