HR Advisor

Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our small HR Advisory team, providing high quality HR advice across all Council services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a full range of complex employee relations casework and a diverse workload.
• Deliver a professional and efficient HR advisory service to managers and employees across the Council.
• Contribute to policy development and project work as business needs arise.
• Build credibility and strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the allocated service areas.
• Prioritise and communicate effectively in a busy, varied environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately three years’ experience managing complex employee relations casework.
• Detailed knowledge of employment law, HR policy and best practice.
• Excellent communication and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to quickly build credibility and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.

Working Arrangements

The role offers a combination of remote working from home and attendance at the Town Hall or other Council buildings when required.
