Job Overview
The role involves delivering outstanding customer service in a fast paced environment across multiple catering areas, including the 150 seat Bistro, 16 Horsemarket Café, Soft Play and Bowling Spaces, and an upcoming 9 hole golf course, shuffleboard and interactive darts catering area.
Responsibilities
- Take orders and process payments using the POS till system.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables.
- Wash up and keep all catering areas clean and presentable.
- Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings and bar service for events.
- Stock up, refill confectionery vendors and set up rooms.
Working Hours
The contract is 26 hours per week with flexible shift patterns, typically 4 × 6.5 hour shifts. Shifts normally run between 7:30 am and 10:30 pm, sometimes later for events. A large proportion of shifts will be on weekends and evenings, requiring availability 7 days a week. Rotas are finalised with at least one week's notice.
Eligibility
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and authorised to serve alcoholic drinks in a licensed premises.
