Overview
Your role will be to support the teams, Team Leaders and Team Managers with the day to day running of the busy office environment. You will be supported in gaining a good understanding of the specific team/service you are working in. You will undertake and complete all components of the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship through our training provider DBC – Learning & Skills.

Eligibility to access funding for an Apprenticeship: A UK resident is eligible for funding if they have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands for at least the previous 3 years on the first day of their apprenticeship and have permission from the UK government to live in the UK (not for educational purposes) or have obtained pre-settled or settled status under EUSS.

Responsibilities
- We are looking for someone who is up for the challenge of working within a complex and diverse organization in a support role, and who can work alongside our busy team to deliver a range of services within Housing & Revenues.
- Work within the three teams across Housing & Revenues: Housing Asset & Compliance Team, Repairs Before Lettings Team, and Revenues & Benefits.
- Support day-to-day operations, maintain confidentiality, and use IT systems confidently.
- Communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, both orally and in writing.
- Complete all required components of the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.
Qualifications & Requirements
- GCSEs in English and Maths at Grades 4/C, or equivalent.
- Patience, caring disposition, and the ability to work within data protection guidelines.
- Willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and contribute as part of a team.
- Ideally, relevant experience from school, volunteering, or activities such as sports clubs or interest groups.
- Honesty and accuracy in all submitted information.
- National checks may be required for Revenues & Benefits Apprenticeship, including BPSS and unspent convictions checks.
Roles & Locations
- There are four full-time positions available for this 18-month apprenticeship programme across three teams within the Housing & Revenues Service: Housing Asset & Compliance Team (1), Repairs Before Lettings Team (1), and Revenues & Benefits (2).
- Details on apprenticeship pay scales depend on age and stage of apprenticeship, with national minimum wage or living wage applicable as appropriate.
