An individual employer is seeking a compassionate and patient personal assistant/carer to support an elderly gentleman who is deaf, almost fully blind, and physically frail. Responsibilities
- Providing support with daily routines
- Preparing meals (Sunday lunch and evening dinners)
- Assisting with changing into nightwear
- Offering companionship and reassurance
Hours
- Sunday morning until lunchtime
- Sunday evening (approx. 2 hours for dinner and bedtime routine)
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings (approx. 2 hours each)
- Around 12 hours per week, plus extra cover during holidays
- Covering additional hours during annual leave when needed
