Description: A great opportunity has arisen for the chance to support a lively 8-year-old in the Redcar area. This is a Bank Worker Position.
Support is to access the community, go to the beach, soft play, and swimming. There is a need for some support with personal care, hand hygiene and assist with toilet.
Duties will include: To ensure the child is safe whilst supporting to access activities. The suitable person will need to be able to give the child time to process verbal information and use a minimum of verbal communication.
Applicants must be: Patient, reliable, honest and trustworthy. Knowledge of Autism and positive behaviour support strategies are an advantage, however information can be provided at interview. There is also an opportunity for the employee to access training.
Hours: Bank worker to cover of permanent staff when on holiday or off sick for up to 5 hours per week during term time, 8 hours per week during school holidays.
Wage: £13.98 per hour
