Personal/Support Assistant needed to support a young at heart, mostly independent gentleman in his own home around domestic duties, meal planning and preparation. You would be supported by the gentleman's family to get to know this very sociable, fun-loving guy who loves his hobbies and getting out and about. The role is mostly supervisory and encouragement to maintain his independence as much as possible; he likes reassurance that he is doing the job right, therefore, someone who has patience and a natural caring nature would be considered.
Hours: 5.25 hrs per week. Monday 15:30 β 17:15, Thursday 15:45 β 17:15, Friday 18:00 β 20:00. Additional bank hours available, may include over a weekend (afternoons), day trips or one overnight break (1 night) optional per calendar year.
Wage: Β£13.00 per hour
Duties:
- Support around preparing packed lunches and cooking healthy hot meals.
- Support and supervision with domestic duties, including laundry.
