Join Darktrace as a Specialist Technical Author and play a key role in shaping the materials that help our customers, partners, and global community understand and engage with our technology. Working closely with R&D, Design, and UX/UI teams, you’ll immerse yourself in our products, collaborate with subject‑matter experts, and translate complex concepts into clear, accessible content. This is a hybrid position, requiring two days per week in our Cambridge office.

What will I be doing:

  • Identifying areas where technical documentation is needed and creating content tailored to audiences with varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Writing, editing, and proofreading a range of technical materials.
  • Reviewing documentation produced by others and providing constructive feedback.

What experience do I need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a technical writing or documentation-focused role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Experience producing documentation for software or hardware technologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with a range of technical stakeholders, from engineers to end users.
  • Strong analytical and documentation abilities.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and quality.
