We have an immediate opening based out of our London or Cambridge office. This position is ideal for someone looking to work as part of a dynamic global team, supplementing our Sales representatives, Directors, and VPs to help them achieve their KPIs. This role offers the candidate the opportunity to have a direct impact on overall corporate success. Our Sales Operations Executive team provides order processing and general operational support to the global sales teams. The successful applicant will be energetic, flexible to a dynamic workload, analytical, and highly organised.
This position interacts regularly with numerous senior staff across several internal teams, so requires a confident and professional individual. This is a hybrid role, and the expectation would be to work a minimum of 2 days a week in the London or Cambridge office.
What will I be doing:
- Ensuring that all contracts closed are accurately uploaded onto the CRM system.
- Input deployment information, using knowledge gained from the technical side of the business to verify validity of different combinations of products when inputting them into the system.
- Input financial data which will feed into our financial database, Workday.
- Identify and use problem-solving techniques to ensure complete deal and data accuracy at all times.
- Constantly strive to look for ways to improve the speed and accuracy of the deal process.
- Meet tight deadlines at month end and work quickly and efficiently to ensure that all tasks are completed within the given time frame.
- Process amendment letters and alterations to customer’s contracts.
- Build relationships with other teams including Sales, Finance, Legal and Development to increase process workflow, particularly during the busy month end period.
- Act as CRM support for the global sales team, answering any email queries sent through to shared mailboxes.
- Troubleshoot issues – quickly identify the source of the issue and find a solution, while keeping excellent communication with the Sales team while the issue is being fixed.
- Liaise with the Salesforce Admins and Architects to fix any issues that arise.
- Identify areas for improvement and come up with new ideas to optimise business processes.
What experience do I need:
- The successful applicant will make this role their own, using initiative and problem-solving skills to suggest improvements to the day-to-day running of processes and manage their own projects when bringing these visions to life.
- Be able to work independently to numerous personal and team deadlines, while consistently identifying areas for improvement.
- Interact and build rapport with all levels of sales/data management.
- Have very strong organisational and independent project management skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, for creation of reporting slide decks and original sales documents for distribution.
- Understand formulas, functions, and pivot tables in Excel.
- Understand standard forecasting methodology, KPI reporting, sales planning strategy, and the overall enterprise sales cycle – desirable.
- Desirable experience using Salesforce and Workday.
