What will I be doing:
Darktrace is currently expanding rapidly due to unprecedented growth and accelerating revenue. We are looking for ambitious and driven candidates with previous B2B sales experience to join our vibrant, friendly, and fast-paced sales development team based at our Cambridge Headquarters. As a Sales Development Representative, you will work on greenfield areas to establish relationships with new customers and uncover high-value opportunities. You will also receive extensive training and support from mentors and team leaders. This role offers great career development, training, and opportunities.
This role is based out of our London or Cambridge Offices, with an expected attendance of 2-3 days a week.
Working in close alignment with Account Executives on a set of business accounts assigned to you. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sharing your passion for cyber security through outbound calls and setting appointments,
- Mapping accounts, identifying key decision-makers, influencers, and champions,
- Providing regular metrics and reports,
- Following up on prospects and booking meetings after events,
- Inviting VIP guests to events.
What experience do I need:
We welcome applications from candidates who have fluent business-level German combined with a minimum of 6 months of outbound sales experience. Additionally, you should:
- Be ambitious and driven, eager to work in a target-driven environment,
- Have clear communication skills to engage in compelling conversations with a variety of individuals,
- Be naturally resilient and tenacious, able to bounce back and persevere.
