Senior Sales Compensation Specialist is responsible for the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of our incentive programs worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Administering and processing global sales commissions and incentives in line with compensation plans and compliance standards.
- Collaborating with Revenue Operations, Finance, HR, and Payroll to ensure accurate data flows across CRM, ERP, HCM, and compensation platforms.
- Validating performance data, quota attainment, and managing exceptions to ensure accurate monthly payouts.
- Maintaining detailed documentation to support internal controls and international compliance (SOX, GDPR).
- Acting as a key contact for global stakeholders, resolving compensation queries and disputes.
- Delivering commission statements and analytics to sales teams, leadership, and the board.
- Leading process improvements and system enhancements, including automation and standardization.
- Supporting cross-regional projects such as system integrations, policy rollouts, and audit readiness.
What experience do I need?
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in sales compensation. You’ll be comfortable navigating complex commission structures, collaborating across teams, and driving accuracy in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Key Experience Includes:
- Background in Sales Compensation, Finance, or Payroll
- Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Experience with Salesforce, Xactly, or similar tools
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and work independently
- Confidence in communicating with internal stakeholders
A university degree is preferred, but hands-on experience and initiative are highly valued.
