Job Description:
Darktrace is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help shape how customers, sellers, and the market understand our AI-native cybersecurity platform. In this role, you'll support core product marketing work for the SECURE AI solution across positioning, messaging, launches, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and customer proof points, turning technical differentiation into clear, credible stories that help our go-to-market teams win.
You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior product marketing leaders, sales, product, analyst relations, and customer-facing teams on real launches, real deals, and real market challenges. It's a role built for someone who wants to grow fast, learn from experienced PMM leaders, and make a visible impact from day one. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of two days per week in either our Cambridge or London office, with the remaining time worked remotely.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Own defined components within the AI security solution area, working under the guidance of senior product marketing leadership.
- Support product positioning and messaging by translating technical capabilities into clear customer value, sales narratives, and market-facing language.
- Contribute to product launches by supporting launch planning, asset development, internal communications, and field readiness.
- Build sales enablement materials, including talk tracks, FAQs, objection-handling content, battlecards, and seller-ready guidance.
- Develop content including blogs, one-pagers, solution briefs, web copy, and sales collateral.
- Gather and maintain competitive intelligence, including competitor tracking, win/loss input, field feedback, and battlecard updates.
- Support analyst relations inputs, submissions, briefing preparation, and proof-point gathering under the guidance of senior PMM and analyst relations stakeholders.
- Support case study and customer proof point development, including coordinating customer input, sourcing quotes, and turning outcomes into usable go-to-market assets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven product marketing experience within a B2B technology environment, ideally in cybersecurity, AI, SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Experience supporting product positioning, messaging, sales enablement, product launches, and broader go-to-market initiatives.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling content for both internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise technical, market, and competitive information into clear, customer-focused and sales-ready materials.
- Experience creating content such as blogs, solution briefs, web copy, presentations, sales collateral, or enablement assets.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, product, analyst relations, and senior marketing stakeholders, influencing without direct authority.
- Self-starter who can take ownership of a defined scope, prioritise effectively, and deliver results independently.
- Coachable, with strong learning agility and a genuine interest in cybersecurity, AI, and enterprise technology markets.
Nice to Have:
- Cybersecurity or AI industry exposure, particularly in email security, network security, cloud security, identity, data security, or broader enterprise security markets.
- Experience supporting analyst relations processes, competitive intelligence programmes, win/loss analysis, or case study production.
- Experience working with sales teams, solution engineers, or customer-facing stakeholders to translate technical differentiation into practical field guidance.
- Familiarity with enterprise technology buying cycles, B2B sales motions, and go-to-market strategy.
Benefits:
- 23 days’ holiday + all public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service.
- Additional day off for your birthday.
- Private medical insurance which covers you, your cohabiting partner and children.
- Life insurance of 4 times your base salary.
- Salary sacrifice pension scheme.
- Enhanced family leave.
- Confidential Employee Assistance Program.
- Cycle to work scheme.
