Job DescriptionWe are seeking candidates to join our mobile app team. Our mobile application helps to alert security professionals to critical information that they need to know whilst they are on the go, giving them peace of mind that Darktrace\’s Self‐Learning AI is making decisions and taking proportionate, autonomous actions to thwart in-progress attacks while they are away from their desks.

Please note this is a hybrid position with a requirement of 2 days per week in the London office.

What will I be doing

Collaborating with the in‐house design team and other members of the Darktrace R&D team to develop new features for the mobile app

Refining and enhancing the existing mobile app offering

Working towards competence in Android development, with training and support provided

Writing and maintaining code for mobile applications

Communicating proactively with team members and working independently

What experience do I need

A strong interest in mobile app technologies and emerging trends

Proven experience designing and developing mobile applications for Android platforms

Good working knowledge of Java, XML, and Kotlin for Android development

Familiarity with Android SDK, UI design principles, and performance optimization techniques

Experience with C++ and/or JavaScript is desirable but not essential

Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services

Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices in mobile development
