What will I be doing:
As a Curriculum Developer, you will develop and implement training programmes for customers and partners within Darktrace Academy. This multilingual position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate the complexities of different technical training programmes. This role involves approximately 20% teaching and 80% curriculum development. You will learn to teach our classes, observe materials in action, and implement improvements.
The Curriculum Developer must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, interacting with various internal and external stakeholders. You should have a comprehensive understanding of developing and managing technical training programmes, including documentation formatting, e-learning video creation, and learning progression. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a permanent position based out of our Cambridge or London Office, with an expected attendance of 2 days a week.
Reporting to the Head of Curriculum Development, you will work on developing technical training materials such as courses, slides, manuals, and questionnaires. You will design new training courses for various user personas and collaborate with teams to determine content. Your responsibilities include:
- Producing high-quality on-demand training content for the Darktrace Academy,
- Developing instruction materials like manuals, presentations, agendas, and quizzes,
- Configuring LMS and interactive elements,
- Teaching Darktrace courses virtually and in-person,
- Supporting foreign languages and translations,
- Implementing continuous improvements in a dynamic environment.
What experience do I need:
We welcome applicants with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders. You should understand the elements of developing and managing technical training programmes, including documentation formatting and learning progression. You will also have:
- A university degree in a technical subject (engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics) with a 2:1 or above,
- Proficiency in one or more European languages (German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.),
- Proven experience in training and curriculum development in a technical capacity,
- Qualifications in teaching (PGCE) are desirable,
- Experience with industry-standard content development tools such as Adobe Suite (InDesign, Captivate), media, and instructional design techniques.
