As a Systems Operations Analyst at Darktrace, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement of internal systems. Acting as a key problem solver and subject matter expert, you will work closely with business and technical teams to troubleshoot complex system issues, optimize workflows, and drive strategic improvements. This role requires deep analytical expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage priorities while influencing best practices across departments.

What will I be doing:

  • Serve as a technical expert in system operations, proactively identifying and resolving complex system and process inefficiencies.
  • Own and optimize critical system workflows, ensuring they align with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Act as a go-to resource for system-related queries, providing advanced troubleshooting and guidance to business and technical teams.
  • Lead process documentation and governance, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Capture and refine business requirements, translating them into actionable system improvements.
  • Prioritize and manage system enhancement requests, working closely with development teams to implement solutions.
  • Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships, driving performance through quarterly business reviews and KPI tracking.
  • Drive successful change management, ensuring seamless adoption of system updates through communication and training.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and security, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Mentor junior analysts, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in system operations.

What experience do I need:

  • Extensive experience in system and process analysis within a technical or enterprise environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Expertise in enterprise technologies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with IT infrastructure, networks, and software development life cycles.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and independently drive initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of security principles and risk management in system operations.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and best practices in system governance.
  • Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools (preferred but not essential).
