Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineering Manager to lead our partner team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing pre-sales engineering teams, with strong industry expertise, and experience of working with partners across Europe. Our partner solutions engineering team design and propose solutions, conducting product demos, and providing technical support to drive revenue growth through our partners.

What will I be doing:

  • Leading, inspiring and managing our partner solutions engineering team across Europe, providing clear direction, coaching and performance management to maximise their individual and collective potential.
  • Collaborating with Go-To-Market leadership to develop strategies, set targets, and create actionable plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Joining conversations with partners and customers where appropriate to drive revenue growth, unlock problems, and build relationships.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with channel partners as well as working with them to resolve conflicts and ensure mutual success.
  • Fostering and upholding a fantastic team culture aligning with our values.

What experience do I need:

We welcome applications from individuals with leadership experience in technical sales engineering (preferably within a channel or partner ecosystem) with exposure to industries relevant to our products (cybersecurity, cloud computing, networking). You will have experience working with/supporting channel partners, value-added resellers or distributors and be able to design and propose solutions that meet the specific needs of partners and their customers. You will also likely have:

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing pre-sales / technical teams, with strong coaching and mentoring skills to drive individual and team success.
  • Familiarity using solutions engineering KPIs and metrics for team measurement.
  • Confident, polished communication skills with a proven ability to build lasting, critical business relationships.
  • An understanding of the MEDDPPIC sales methodology is desirable.

It is likely during the application process you will be tested on your understanding of Darktrace products, solutions and technology stack, and how we integrate with other systems and technologies.
