This is a hybrid position that requires attendance in the Cambridge office at least 2 days a week.

What will I be doing:

  • As a Senior Cyber Analyst, you’ll have a varied and challenging workload across SOC, consultancy, and threat functions. Key responsibilities include:
  • Using the Darktrace platform and supporting tools to investigate alerts and network traffic for unusual patterns, producing technical customer-facing reports.
  • Assessing risks and implementing straightforward security measures.
  • Identifying threat trends and investigating campaigns across Darktrace’s customer environments.
  • Answering a range of basic to complex customer questions via email or chat with clear, concise responses.
  • Proactively engaging with team members to discuss strategies and objectives.
  • Creating checklists to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Speaking credibly on cybersecurity topics and sharing knowledge internally and externally through technical blog posts.
  • Representing Analyst work and cybersecurity principles confidently in customer-facing engagements.
  • Staying up to date with the latest developments and trends in cybersecurity.
  • Becoming a technical expert for customer engagements, sharing best practices and supporting adoption of the Darktrace platform.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of customer and business data security.

What experience do I need:

  • We’re looking for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating within a diverse team. Ideal candidates will have:
  • Information Security Knowledge: Intermediate to advanced cybersecurity knowledge and experience following procedures during security breaches.
  • Darktrace Product Knowledge: Understanding of security measures and AI enhancements integrated within our core products.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven analytical and pattern recognition skills.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to break down tasks, gather data, and apply practical solutions.
  • Organisation: Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Goal Orientation: Ability to set personal objectives aligned with team goals.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active Listening: Ability to engage effectively with team members and customers.
