Qualifications
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a full-time leadership role responsible for defining and executing DarkState Security’s revenue strategy across sales, account management, and growth initiatives. Based in the London Area, United Kingdom, this hybrid role combines on-site collaboration with flexible work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring the revenue organization, building and optimizing sales processes, and overseeing lead generation and pipeline development. The CRO will partner closely with executive leadership to align go-to-market plans with business objectives, define pricing and market positioning, and support key customer relationships. This role also involves monitoring performance metrics, refining sales operations, and driving strategic planning to ensure sustainable, scalable revenue growth in the cybersecurity sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Lead Generation, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing revenue teams.
- Strong background in Account Management, including nurturing long-term client relationships and overseeing key strategic accounts.
- Experience in Strategic Planning, with the ability to define market strategies, segment customers, and prioritize growth initiatives.
- Proficiency in Sales Operations, including forecasting, performance analytics, pipeline management, and process optimization.
- Proven leadership experience in senior commercial roles within B2B technology or cybersecurity, preferably at growth-stage organizations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, finance) and communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with comfort using CRM and revenue intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company externally at industry events and with partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity markets, solutions, and trends is highly advantageous.
