Requirements

Join our Mechanical and Electrical team as a Mechanical Site Supervisor, where you’ll play a crucial role in leading our mechanical site activities within a 60-mile radius of our Long Hanborough head office. This role includes overseeing the full spectrum of mechanical building services installations, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving project success through effective leadership and coordination.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report on project progress to the Project Contracts Manager.
  • Manage and coordinate a skilled team of in-house staff and subcontractors.
  • Supervise and actively participating in the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure all health & safety protocols are maintained for staff and subcontractors.
  • Represent the company in client and main contractor meetings.
  • Oversee daily site activities, labour levels, material usage and project timelines.
  • Train or guide junior workers and apprentices.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years as a Mechanical Site Supervisor.
  • NVQ qualification in Mechanical Services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems (ventilation, air conditioning, domestic & heating, above ground drainage).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and execute physical installations.
  • Proficiency in IT for project reporting and communication.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification (preferred).
  • PASMA and IPAF certifications (preferred).

  • Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:00pm; Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
