Based in Cambridgeshire and operating across the UK and internationally, we design and install bespoke AV, lighting control, networking, CCTV, and automation systems for luxury residential properties, commercial spaces, and superyachts. This is a full-time hybrid role for an AV Designer located in Huntingdon, with some work from home acceptable. The AV Designer will be responsible for designing and implementing audiovisual solutions for clients. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Preparing technical drawings
- Collaborating with project teams
- Conducting site visits
- Specifying equipment
- Ensuring that designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and meet the client's needs
- Providing technical support during installations
- Working closely with vendors to keep up-to-date with the latest AV technologies
Qualifications
- Experience in AV system design and implementation
- Proficiency in using design software (like AutoCAD, SketchUp)
- Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment and systems
