Job Description:
This is a hybrid role, with a compulsory attendance of 2 days a week in the London or Cambridge office.
The AI Governance Advisor role is an independent role focusing on the governance of AI Systems in the company, especially those developed as part of the product. It represents an opportunity to have significant impact in a fast-growing AI-native company, committed to responsible AI principles.
Candidates will primarily collaborate with the GRC and Development teams to assist with the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company\’s existing Artificial Intelligence Management System.
An ideal candidate would have prior experience in compliance, policy, law, or product management, especially where these relate to AI.
Responsibilities
- Managing documentation and risks associated with AI Systems.
- Driving continuous improvement of AI Management System policies.
- Planning, facilitating and documenting AI Program Reviews.
- Collaborating with teams including Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and Development to assess technical and policy-related content.
Relevant experience and skills
- Excellent written communication, including ability to understand formal documentation and translate technical concepts into clear policy.
- Knowledge of AI compliance frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 42001, NIST Risk Management Framework).
- Familiarity with international AI regulation and legislation (e.g. EU AI Act).
- Appreciation of responsible AI principles.
- Familiarity with common AI and machine learning approaches (e.g. classical models, large language models, generative AI).
- Enthusiasm for working at pace, and in collaboration with technical and non-technical colleagues across the business.
