Darin Partners Limited is an independent asset manager and advisor based in London, focusing on income-generating real estate assets across the UK. The firm sources, finances, and structures investments on a deal-by-deal basis and manages the full execution process from acquisition through to asset management and exit.
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Graduate Surveyor / Asset Manager to join our London-based team. This is a full-time, on-site role offering exposure to all stages of the real estate investment lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the sourcing and acquisition of commercial, residential, student accommodation, hotel, and mixed-use real estate assets
- Supporting property valuations, investment appraisals, and financial modelling
- Conducting market, sector, and location-based research to support investment and asset management decisions
- Liaising with leasing agents and property management agents to obtain leasing updates, rental evidence, void status, service charge information, and market intelligence
- Assisting with ongoing asset management activities, including lease events, rent reviews, lease renewals, and tenant liaison
- Supporting project management from initiation to completion, including refurbishment and repositioning projects
- Preparing detailed reports, presentations, and internal investment papers
- Monitoring asset performance, budgets, and business plans
- Liaising with clients, lenders, professional advisors, and other stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
- School-leaver or graduate with a strong interest in property, real estate, or the built environment
- Property-focused education or background, such as A-levels, BTEC, apprenticeship, or relevant coursework in property, construction, business, or economics
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred but not essential for the right candidate)
- Relevant experience through internships, work placements, apprenticeships, or part-time roles within property, real estate, surveying, asset management, or related sectors
- Experience or strong interest in property valuations and market research
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Professional, proactive, and keen to learn, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
