As a Security / Reception Officer you will provide a professional, client‑facing presence at reception while also carrying out core security duties. The role is focused on customer service, contractor management, and supporting the Facilities Manager and wider site team.
Responsibilities
- Act as a client‑facing reception presence, welcoming visitors and occupiers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, handling enquiries and supporting front‑of‑house operations.
- Manage contractor sign‑in, inductions, and access, ensuring site procedures are followed.
- Carry out security duties including access control, patrols, monitoring alarms, and incident reporting.
- Support the Facilities Manager and site team with day‑to‑day operational activities and issue reporting.
- Maintain site standards at reception and shared areas, escalating concerns where required.
- Respond to incidents or security matters in line with site procedures and escalation routes.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Licence.
- Right to work in the UK and a five‑year checkable history.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Passionate about creating an exceptional customer experience.
- Knowledge of the MS Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Highly intuitive with a curious mindset.
- Highly presentable in line with our corporate brand.

Compensation and Benefits
- £14.45 per hour.
- 45 hours per week, 9‑hour shift pattern (Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00).
