The Opportunity
Our client is a leading location which supports early-stage bioscience enterprise, a place where discovery research and business come together with a shared scientific focus.
The role of a Security Officer is highly respected and will become part of the core Security team. You will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors.
Your duties include (but are not limited to):
- Full foot and vehicle patrols
- Control of all entrances of vehicles, visitors, and contractors to site.
- Monitor CCTV and control access and egress areas
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports of security-related activities
- Monitor and respond to alarms accordingly
Full in-house training will be provided.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Valid SIA Licence
- Full UK Driving Licence is a requirement
- Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
- Punctual and reliable
- Passionate about creating an exceptional customer experience
- Knowledge of the MS packages (excel, word, outlook)
- Highly intuitive with a curious mindset
- Highly presentable in line with our corporate brand
