The Opportunity:
Our client is a global industry leader, and they are looking for an experienced Security Supervisor to join their corporate team. The role of a Security Supervisor is an integral client facing role and will become the key stakeholder for all Security services.
You will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact, including the management and performance of staff and the overall performance of the Security contract. You will be part of a sophisticated and well organised Concierge/Front of House operation and will maintain exceptional standards. You will be passionate about delivering exceptional client and guest experience through coaching staff to achieve the highest levels of service, safety and presentation.
Your duties include (but are not limited to):
- Lead communication across key stakeholders in a proactive, not reactive approach
- Carry out and/or supervise internal and external patrols of the designated restricted area day and night to ensure a safe and secure environment, recording maintenance issues, potential breaches of security or unusual circumstances using the relevant reporting mechanisms
- Attend regular meetings with the client to ensure smooth running of the contract.
- Responsible for management of KPI’s
- Support with recruitment and lead on interviewing and onboarding of staff – core and support security officers
- Responsible for checking electronic reporting mechanisms, closing incidents and reporting of incidents to client and internal team
- Ensure any first aid incidents are managed and reported correctly to the client and to Dardan
- Ensure regular searches are being completed and assist when necessary
- Maintain legal compliance registers, including legislative evaluation review
- Design and delivery of the integrated management systems management processes, standard operating procedures, document design, control, and implementation
- Be a proactive visible presence on site to ensure jobs are identified before being reported
- Create detailed incidents reports and forward to relevant persons
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Valid SIA Licence
- Good Leadership and Management skills
- Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
- Punctual and reliable
- Passionate about creating an exceptional customer experience
- Knowledge of the MS packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly intuitive with a curious mindset
