This is a pivotal leadership position designed for a strategic thinker who isn't afraid to get stuck into practical execution. You will take ownership of the day-to-day manufacturing and warehousing operations, driving efficiency, scaling processes, and mentoring a talented team of managers to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee and optimise daily production, warehousing, and operational planning activities.
  • Team Development: Lead, inspire, and develop a tier of department managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Performance Excellence: Track, analyse, and improve operational performance utilising robust KPIs and data-driven insights.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion LEAN methodologies to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and support business growth.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety, Quality, and regulatory compliance are maintained across all sites.

Core Experience & Skills:

  • Proven Track Record: Significant leadership experience within Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, or a closely related industrial environment.
  • People First: A proven ability to lead other managers, develop teams, and manage diverse stakeholder relationships seamlessly.
  • Operational Grip: A deep understanding of end-to-end production, warehousing, and practical capacity planning.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving capabilities with experience managing operational output through data and KPIs.
  • Desirable: Experience working within fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing sectors. Proven success navigating rapid business growth or managing highly seasonal demand fluctuations.
