Key Responsibilities
- Critical Path Management: Take full accountability for managing the end-to-end critical path from initial enquiry and RFQ through to final delivery, ensuring all project timelines and milestones are met.
- RFQ Execution: Launch, manage, and analyse complex RFQ (Request for Quote) processes to secure the most competitive pricing and commercial terms.
- Strategic Supplier Management: Identify, strategically evaluate, and onboard high-performing global suppliers while proactively managing and strengthening existing international vendor relationships.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead high-value negotiations regarding pricing, payment terms, and lead times to maximise profitability and cost efficiency without compromising on quality.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams and external logistics partners to guarantee the seamless, timely delivery of materials to specific sites and warehouses.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Leverage market intelligence and data to anticipate industry shifts, mitigate supply chain risks, and identify strategic buying opportunities.
