DARA People are looking to speak with experienced Health and Safety Consultants in Plymouth for an 8-week contract, working 2 days per week. This role will involve supporting a client on site with practical health and safety advice, compliance reviews, audits and general H&S support. The consultant will be required to attend site in Plymouth as part of the assignment.
We are keen to hear from Health and Safety Consultants, Health and Safety Advisors, HSE Consultants, SHEQ Advisors and QHSE professionals who are available for part-time contract work.
Typical duties may include:
- Visiting site and supporting operational teams
- Reviewing health and safety documentation
- Supporting risk assessments and method statements
- Identifying hazards and advising on safe working practices
- Carrying out audits, inspections and compliance checks
- Supporting meetings and client updates
- Tracking actions and following up with site teams
- Providing clear and practical health and safety advice
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in a health and safety role
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice
- Experience with risk assessments, audits or site inspections
- NEBOSH, IOSH, CMIOSH, TechIOSH or similar qualifications
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Confidence working with clients, site teams and stakeholders
- Availability for an 8-week contract, 2 days per week
- Ability to travel to site in Plymouth
