The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Pull Tester / Height Safety Technician to carry out nationwide site visits, conducting specialist testing and inspections across a variety of environments. This role involves using a Hydrajaws Model 2000 pull tester to ensure compliance, safety, and accurate reporting, while working safely at height in line with industry and LEEA standards. Ideal for a technician looking for long-term work, UK travel, and ongoing career opportunities within height safety and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pull tests using a Hydrajaws Model 2000.
- Perform inspections and testing in accordance with LEEA and industry standards.
- Work safely at height following Working at Height and IPAF guidelines.
- Complete accurate electronic reports via smartphone or laptop.
- Ensure all sites are left safe, tidy, and compliant.
- Travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience using a Hydrajaws pull tester (Model 2000).
- Working at Height training (basic minimum).
- LEEA training (essential or currently working toward).
- IPAF qualification.
- Valid CSCS card.
- First Aid certification.
- Own ladder, hand tools, and full PPE.
- Suitable vehicle for nationwide travel.
- Willingness to stay away overnight as required.
- Asbestos Awareness training.
- Smartphone and/or laptop for reporting.
- Current DBS check (or willing to obtain).
