We are looking for an experienced Blind Installer to work on a live high-rise apartment development in Manchester. The project involves the installation of approximately 245 curtains and tracks throughout the development. This is a short-term, 5-day contract including site induction, paying 230 per day CIS. Candidates with previous blind/curtain installation experience are preferred, although experienced carpenters with the right fixing and installation background will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Installing curtains and curtain tracks throughout apartments
- Completing approximately 245 curtain and track installations across the project
- Measuring, positioning and securely fixing tracks
- Fixing into plasterboard and timber
- Using basic hand and power tools safely
- Working efficiently to the project installation programme
- Maintaining a good standard of workmanship and finish
- Following site health and safety regulations
