Key responsibilities
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, feasibility budgets and benchmarking.
- Produce cost reports, forecasts, cashflows and cost-to-complete updates.
- Manage procurement and tender processes, including analysis, levelling and recommendations.
- Assess variations and change, maintaining clear commercial controls and approval records.
- Manage valuations, payments and contractor commercial performance where required.
- Track risk, opportunity and programme-level commercial performance.
- Present clear cost and commercial advice to client stakeholders.
- Manage multiple live projects with strong ownership and reporting discipline.
Requirements
- Qualified Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years’ relevant experience.
- Background as a PQS, Cost Consultant, Cost Manager or client-side Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong experience across cost planning, procurement, tender analysis, change control, valuations and cost reporting.
- Confident dealing directly with clients and presenting commercial information.
- Strong Excel, forecasting and reporting capability.
- Able to manage multiple live priorities with limited supervision.
Desirable
- MRICS or progressing through APC.
- Multi-site, portfolio or programme-based project experience.
- New build, refurbishment, remodelling or live-environment exposure.
- Experience working within client governance and commercial control frameworks.
Why consider it?
