About the Danubius Hotel Regents Park

We are a 325-bedroom hotel located in central London with a difference. Located by three iconic London Landmarks: Lords Cricket Ground, Regents Park, and London Zoo. Situated in St Johns Wood, we pride ourselves in offering a real home from home for business and leisure travelers alike.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team. You will be able to run a smooth kitchen service, while ensuring that a consistent level of quality is delivered to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Following HACCP.
  • Following the recipes and duly consulting with the Executive head chef before introducing any changes.
  • Ensuring that the cleanliness and hygiene of food preparation areas is always maintained.
  • Maintaining stock and wastage control.
  • Checking and maintaining storage areas, following the correct storage protocol.
  • Quality control of all food items delivered.
  • Observing and meticulously following regulations on food storage, hygiene, and temperature control.
  • Being responsible for the day-to-day ordering of food, in line with the hotel purchasing guidelines in the absence of the Executive Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef.

Shifts are based on 5 of 7 days on a shift pattern of late (3pm - 11pm) including weekends.

Salary & benefits:

  • Permanent Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
  • £17.85 per hour Equivalent to £34,807.79 per annum.
  • Meals on Duty

Candidate requirements:

  • Essential: Have a valid Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
  • Have achieved a NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery or similar.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Great team working skills.

Under the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, evidence of eligibility to work and live in the UK will be required should you be invited to attend an interview.
