THE ROLE:

Danske Bank UK is hiring for an exciting new role across its marketing and communications teams. We’re looking for a highly organised and creative person to join us as a Sponsorships & Digital Content Co-ordinator, to help us to drive standout sponsorship activities and engaging Bank-wide social media content.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • You will work closely with the Sponsorships & Events Manager to help plan, execute and report on sponsorship activities and events, including our:
  • Youth sports activity (across rugby, football and GAA).
  • An extensive programme of business events and sponsorships (including partners like NI Chamber, Belfast Chamber, MLN, the Chartered Accountants Ulster Society, the NI Federation of Housing Associations, the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society).
  • Work closely with the External Communications Manager to help create, write and publish content across the bank’s social media channels.
  • Work closely with our external partners to develop ideas, content and experiences that align with both brands. That will include collaborating with designers, videographers and agencies.
  • You will monitor trends and performance, using insights to improve and evolve content strategy.
  • Manage timelines, assets and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of plans
  • Cover live events and activations, to support the event delivery and capture real-time social moments.
  • Ensure that all sponsorship and digital content is compliant with existing legal, regulatory and voluntary code obligations, by adhering to the financial promotions process and Bank standards and policies.
  • Work across the marketing and communications teams and will have opportunities to get involved and support other activities when required.
  • Be responsible for tracking and reconciliation of allocated spend and ongoing optimisation of return on investment ensuring all sponsorship activity is cost-effective.
  • Be expected to review and adopt new technology to support your role, including AI and upskilling on new platforms where needed.
  • Strong organisational and event planning skills
  • Excellent writing and visual storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite.).
  • A solid understanding of what makes content work across key social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.)– and a keen interest and knowledge in latest trends. OR
  • A strong grasp of effective content strategies for major social media platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.), combined with a keen interest in and awareness of the latest trends
  • A good eye for design, detail and tone – including ensuring content accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas and produce original content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Being comfortable managing projects, multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a range of cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders, designers, colleagues and agencies.
  • Agility to deliver in tight deadlines and to respond to opportunities / trends.
  • SKILLS:

    Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

    Essential Criteria:

    • Relevant 3 rd level qualification and at least 2 years’ relevant experience.

    Preferred Criteria:

    • Hands on experience in smartphone video creation and editing (photography skills or experience would be an advantage).
    • Experience managing events and co-ordinating sponsorship partnerships
    • Knowledge and understanding of content planning for social media: including audience analysis, goal setting and content distribution across various platforms.
    • Knowledge and understanding of social media performance metrics.

    This role involves travel to various events you will be supporting as well as other locations to capture social media content.

We will be supportive and flexible to your circumstances, so for roles that offer a hybrid option we ask colleagues to attend their base location a minimum of 3 days a week so they can connect, collaborate and learn together. The other 2 days can be worked either from home or another bank location.
