What does this role look like? The Strategic Workforce Planning Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping end to end the bank's workforce strategy. This role involves defining and scoping strategic workforce planning projects by engaging with various stakeholders across the organisation. As our Strategic Workforce Planning Partner, you will interpret data to extract insights and make informed recommendations for workforce planning innovations and transformations. This role requires a proactive leader who can navigate complexity, engage stakeholders, and drive transformation across the bank.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Extensive working knowledge of workforce planning tools and techniques
- Expertise in designing and delivering senior people projects at a senior level
- Experience using relevant project management tools, templates and methodologies and of delivering full projects from concept to implementation
- Be up to date with key technical and functional skills, and with industry, business and leadership skills and knowledge
- Experience in influencing senior stakeholders, gaining support for major changes and key decisions
- Experience in working as part of cross-functional teams and building relationships
How we work: Our belief is that we are “Better when Together” and want to balance the benefits of teaming up in person with flexible working where possible. We will be supportive and flexible to your circumstances, so for roles that offer a hybrid option we ask colleagues to attend their base location a minimum of 3 days a week so they can connect, collaborate and learn together. The other 2 days can be worked either from home or another bank location. Some of our roles are customer facing which means that it’s really important to be able to work with customers face to face and hybrid working isn’t appropriate.
