The individual in this role will oversee the day-to-day management of print jobs, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality control across all stages of production. Key responsibilities include assessing customer specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, selecting appropriate materials and print methods, and ensuring jobs are delivered on time and within budget. The role involves regular communication with clients to clarify requirements, provide quotations, and address any issues that arise during production. The Print Manager/Estimator will also monitor stock levels, liaise with suppliers, help maintain equipment, and support continuous improvements in efficiency, safety, and customer service.

Qualifications

Experience in print production management, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality assurance.

• Proficiency in estimating print jobs, calculating costs, and preparing customer quotations.
• Knowledge of printing processes, materials, and equipment (e.g., digital and offset printing, finishing techniques).
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into clear proposals.
• Competence with relevant software such as print management systems, estimating tools, and basic office applications.
• Good numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in pricing and documentation.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
