We are looking for a new member of our technical team to provide strong technical support to specifiers, contractors and distributors in the North of England across our range of flat roof waterproofing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responding to customers’ technical queries and enquiries received via email and telephone
- On‑site inspections (on‑going and completed installation works)
- Refurbishment surveys (including making core samples)
- Technical investigations
- Providing installation training courses to flat roof specialist sub‑contractors
- On‑site training assessments
- Product demonstrations to Distribution clients
- Some overnight stays may be required as part of the requirements whilst performing this role
Qualifications
- A strong and confident knowledge of flat roofing principles is required
- Installation and/or technical support experience in flat roof waterproofing systems
- Previous experience of providing training to others would be beneficial but is not essential
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software
- Previous experience with specification writing, U Value calculators and Condensation Risk Analyses
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with AutoCAD would be beneficial but not essential
