The role
You will provide non‑contentious markets regulatory advice, working closely with documentation teams, compliance and the front office to ensure trading activity can proceed in a compliant and practical way. The work includes advising on:
- EMIR, margin rules (IM/VM), MiFID, trade reporting and regulatory classification
- CRR, netting and capital‑related questions
- Regulatory issues embedded in master agreements and Terms of Business
- UK and EU cross‑border regulatory questions
- Regulatory change and implementation initiatives
About you
- Qualified lawyer with circa 3–5 PQE (flexible)
- Experience in financial services or markets regulation
- Comfortable with ambiguity and problem‑solving
- Pragmatic, confident and willing to challenge where needed
- From private practice or in‑house; UK or EU qualified lawyers
