Danos has been mandated on an exclusive opportunity for an Employment Counsel (5-8 PQE) to join a dynamic in-house team supporting a rapidly growing, internationally active asset management firm. This is a broad and impactful role, working closely with HR and senior business stakeholders to deliver pragmatic legal support across a range of employment matters globally.
Responsibilities:
- Providing commercially focused employment law advice, with a primary focus on UK law alongside broader international matters
- Acting as a trusted legal partner to HR and business leaders on people-related initiatives, risk management and policy development
- Supporting the management of employment disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed
- Collaborating with colleagues across regional offices on cross-border employment issues
- Contributing to the development and roll-out of employment policies and best practices
Your Profile:
- A qualified lawyer with 5+ years' PQE. A blend of private practice and in house would be ideal, although candidates with a strong practice background will be considered.
- Strong UK employment law expertise, with the confidence to work across several jurisdictions.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment. A background in financial services is essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working across international teams and navigating cross-border complexity
