Working with an international bank seeking a Credit Risk Manager to join their London team. This is a broad second-line role focused on credit risk governance, portfolio monitoring, and Credit Committee oversight. This is a 6 month contract, requiring 5 days in an office and will be paying £350 per day, with an ASAP start.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and deliver high-quality credit risk MI, including portfolio analysis, exposures, trends, and early warning indicators.
  • Monitor credit quality metrics such as covenant compliance, arrears, ratings migration and sector concentration risks.
  • Provide 2LoD oversight of credit risk processes, ensuring adherence to policies, approval standards and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee post-loan monitoring activities including annual reviews, financial analysis and covenant tracking.
  • Review 1LoD credit activities, ensuring timely and high-quality credit submissions and ongoing monitoring.
  • Conduct data quality checks across credit systems, ensuring accuracy of ratings, limits, collateral and key risk data.
  • Support system enhancements, reporting improvements and wider risk and regulatory initiatives.
Key Requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience within a Credit Risk function
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk frameworks, credit analysis and portfolio monitoring.
  • Availability to work 5 days a week in a London office and start ASAP.
  • Mandarin language skills highly desirable.
